Humid air can make hair frizz, and curls often feel it most. Much of what helps is handling, and handling is free.

First, a Few Tips

  1. Squeeze the water out with a t-shirt, don’t rub. Then hands off while it dries.
  2. Touching it while it dries can break up the pattern. Let it be.
  3. Sleep with it loose, in a loose braid, or in a bun on top.

Your Routine, Step by Step

  • Wash: gentle, at the scalp.
  • Condition: a smoothing one, from the ears down. Detangle while it’s in.
  • Leave in: from the ears down, on wet hair.
  • Blow dry: protect first.

Frizz isn’t something you did wrong. Let’s find a routine that works with your hair, not against it.
