Itchy, Flaky or Tight Scalp?
Scalp feeling itchy, flaky or tight? Let’s start gently, with the simple things to check first.

Your scalp is skin, and it reacts to what sits on it. Itchy with no dandruff? Build-up and products are the first things to look at.
First, a Few Tips
- Changed a product lately? That’s the first thing to rule out.
- Rinse a little longer than feels necessary, and use your fingertips, not your nails.
- Keep conditioner and leave-ins off your scalp. On the scalp they can build up and irritate.
Your Routine, Step by Step
- Wash: mild, at the scalp. Oily and flaky? Wash more often.
- Condition: any you like, from the ears down.
- Dry: dry your roots fully before you tie it up or sleep on it.
A comfortable scalp is where good hair starts. Let’s find your routine.
When It’s More Than Hair
Burning, soreness, or a smooth or bare patch that showed up fast? Have someone look at your scalp in person, soon.
Itchy and losing more hair than usual? Have someone look at your scalp in person.
If it feels like more than a hair thing, trust that. Have someone look at your scalp in person. You deserve a real answer.
